Flynns of Lackagh is a family run business situated just 10 miles outside Galway City and only 5km off the M18 motorway. It’s now in its 5th Generation under the helm of Julien and Emma Flynn, along with their son Jonathon who is now managing the Agri Department and their other 4 Children, Laura, Max, Ruben and Julien Jnr.
Opening its doors first in 1842, Flynns has grown from a single building which consisted of a pub/shop, suppling groceries and hardware to now consisting of 3 separate businesses - Flynns Supervalu, Flynn’s Topline Hardware and Flynn’s Agri and Fuel merchants. There are also 11 other commercial rental businesses on the site, which now spans over 7 acres. Flynns of Lackagh is now seen as a destination to come to for all your needs, and if you can’t make it to us, we’ll deliver to you, with our fleet of modern vans and trucks.
Customer Service has always been key to our businesses and ensuring we give that personal touch and attention is vital. Thankfully over the generations the passion and drive from the Flynn Family to give the village of Lackagh and its community as many amenities as they can within the complex, is still very much alive, and plans for further development and further businesses to be added to the complex are always to the fore.
