Methods for Glazing the Ham/Gannon
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Place the ham on the tray.
- Coat the ham with mustard.
- Drizzle ¼ of the glaze over the ham and place in a preheated over 190 degrees.
- Cook for 10 to 15 mins.
- Repeat the process until glaze is gone and finish in the over for a further 10 minutes.
- Soak Supervalu Ham in water overnight to remove excess salt.
- Immerse in a large pot with a clove studded onion.
- Bring to the boil & simmer until the ham is cooked.
- Remove cooked ham from the pot and let it rest on a tray.
- Take rind from ham & score the fat and stud with cloves.
- Jar of English Mustard
- 150gms of Brown Sugar
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- 150gms of Honey
